Emotions

You should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you. 2 Timothy 4:5

Sometimes, as believers, we can find ourselves being dragged around by our emotions rather than allowing the Spirit of God to lead us through our days. –Romans 8:14

God gave us the wonderful gift of Freedom.

Are you willing to go through whatever it takes to be free or do you want to stay in your mess for the rest of your life?

Start doing what God wants you to do, one step at a time. Eventually you will walk out of your messes. Stay calm, cool and steady!

If you get upset, don’t let it ruin your life, turn it to good. If you want to overcome evil and anger pray for those who hurt or abuse you.  When the enemy tries to stir up your emotions, calm down and do what God has called you to do. If anything use your emotions as a tool to know what is going on inside your heart. Ask God for peace in your heart and direction in your steps.

We are all susceptible to times of ugly emotions but God wants us to discover His ways that enable us to resist and become free from destructive tendencies. Don’t let your emotions make your decisions. – Colossians 3:15

Every weakness we have is an opportunity for God to show His strength in our lives. Counter feelings of selfishness by doing something good for someone else.

Choose to remain calm, cool, and steady. Pray for spiritual maturity in your life and make it a primary goal.

Emotions are the product of a heart, are saturating your heart with scripture.?

Learn to manage your emotions, don’t rely on them.

Live with principle. Be spiritually led not emotionally.
